Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

Nizoral Anti-dandruff Shampoo is used for the treatment of dandruff in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The shampoo should be used twice a week for four weeks then can be used once a week to keep symptoms at bay. It is important to read the instructions on the packaging and follow them carefully. If symptoms persist after four weeks of treatment, consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal medication that works by inhibiting the production of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell wall. This disrupts the cell membrane and causes it to leak, leading to the death of the fungus. The antifungal activity of ketoconazole makes it effective in the treatment of dandruff.

• Wet hair and scalp with water. • Apply a small amount of Nizoral Anti-dandruff Shampoo to the scalp. • Massage the scalp gently and leave the shampoo on for 3-5 minutes. • Rinse the hair and scalp thoroughly with water. • Repeat the application and leave on for 3-5 minutes. • Rinse the hair and scalp thoroughly with water. • Use twice a week for four weeks.

• Do not use Nizoral Anti-dandruff Shampoo if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. • Avoid contact with the eyes. If the shampoo gets into the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water. • If the skin becomes irritated, stop using the shampoo and consult your pharmacist or doctor.

Active Ingredient: Ketoconazole 2% w/v Other Ingredients: sodium lauryl ether sulfate, disodium monolauryl ether sulfosuccinate, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, laurdimonium hydrolysed animal collagen, macrogol 120 methyl glucose dioleate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, imidurea, hydrochloric acid, erythrosine (E127), purified water. Shelf Life: 36 months.
