Once you have booked your appointment you will receive a confirmation email containing the date and time of your appointment and a pre-consultation questionnaire. If you have booked a video consultation, you will receive another email with the video link that you will use to join our virtual consultation room.

Photograph

We ask all of our patients to take 3 photos of your affected skin. One each from the left side, right side and front on. See 'How to take a Photo of Your Skin' below. You can use your mobile phone to take the photos, or a digital camera if you prefer.

How to Take a Photo of Your Skin

We request 3 photos in total:

If taking pictures of your face make sure you take off your glasses, keep your hair out of your face and remove any make up.

Find a good light. You can do this by standing in front of a window or being in a well-lit room.

Turn off any filters on your device so we can see the real you (Don’t worry, we’ve seen it all before!)

Make sure your face or skin problem fills the entire screen. But don’t hold your device too far away from your skin as it will be harder to see.

All pictures uploaded are 100% confidential and will only be looked at by the clinician involved. We work in line with GDPR regulations, and we do not use photos for promotional or marketing reasons unless you give us consent.
