Regaine For Women

Regaine for Women is used for the treatment of female pattern hair loss. It is a topical solution that is applied to the scalp twice daily. The recommended duration of treatment is at least 4 months. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 2ml. If you miss a dose, do not double the next application, continue to apply the normal amount. If no hair regrowth is seen after 12 months of treatment, then the medication should be stopped. Regaine for Women is not suitable for use in men.

Regaine for Women contains the active ingredient minoxidil. Minoxidil is a vasodilator, which means it works by widening the blood vessels in the scalp. This allows more oxygen, blood and nutrients to reach the hair follicles, which can help to stimulate hair growth and prevent further hair loss. The exact mechanism by which minoxidil works is not fully understood, but it is thought to prolong the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle and increase the size of hair follicles.

• The solution should only be applied to the scalp. • Before applying the solution, ensure that the scalp is dry and clean. • Apply the solution twice daily, in the morning and evening. • The recommended dose is 1ml per application, using the applicator provided. • Apply the solution to the affected area and the surrounding hair, then gently massage into the scalp. • Wash hands after applying the solution. • Allow the solution to dry before styling hair. • Do not use a hairdryer to speed up drying, as this can cause the solution to evaporate too quickly. • Do not shampoo hair for at least 4 hours after application. • Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 2ml. • If no hair regrowth is seen after 12 months of treatment, then the medication should be stopped.

• Do not use if you are allergic to minoxidil or any of the other ingredients in the solution. • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. • Do not use if you have sudden or patchy hair loss, or if you have hair loss caused by medicines, nutritional deficiencies or autoimmune diseases such as alopecia areata. • Do not use on any other parts of the body other than the scalp. • Do not use in conjunction with other topical scalp treatments. • If you experience chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness, dizziness or sudden unexplained weight gain, stop using the product and seek medical attention immediately. • Keep out of reach of children. • For external use only.

This product should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
