What is it?

Epiduo 0.3% Gel is a powerful prescription-only treatment specifically formulated for managing moderate to severe acne. This advanced formula contains two potent active ingredients:

  • Adapalene (0.3%): A retinoid that promotes faster skin cell turnover, helping to keep pores clear, reduce inflammation, and minimise the appearance of fine lines, scarring, and dark spots left by acne.
  • Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%): An antibacterial agent that targets acne-causing bacteria on the skin and reduces oil production, helping to prevent future breakouts.

Key Benefits:

  • Effective Against Acne: Combines potent retinoid and antibacterial properties to treat inflamed and non-inflamed acne lesions effectively.
  • Reduces Acne Bacteria: Benzoyl peroxide targets and kills acne-causing bacteria, helping to reduce redness and inflammation.
  • Supports Skin Regeneration: Adapalene encourages cell turnover, which can improve skin texture, reduce dark spots, and lessen the appearance of scars.
  • Targets Pore Blockages: Helps unclog pores, preventing new breakouts and supporting long-term skin clarity.

Dosage & Usage:

  • Epiduo 0.3% Gel: Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily in the evening. For best results, cleanse the skin gently before application and apply to dry skin.

Duration:

While some improvement in acne symptoms may be seen within a few weeks, continuous use over at least three months is recommended for best results.
