Photograph
We ask all of our patients to take at least 3 photos of your affected skin. See 'How to take a Photo of Your Skin' below. You can use your mobile phone to take the photos, or a digital camera if you prefer. You can upload these photos to the pre-consultation questionnaire so your clinician can review them before your appointment.

How to Take a Photo of Your Skin
If taking pictures of your face make sure you take off your glasses, keep your hair out of your face and remove any make up.
Find a good light. You can do this by standing in front of a window or being in a well-lit room.
Turn off any filters on your device so we can see the real you (Don’t worry, we’ve seen it all before!)
Try to take at least one photo close up, and one photo further away to give us some perspective. A photo from the side can also help if your skin goes up or down from the surface.
All pictures uploaded are 100% confidential and will only be looked at by the clinician involved. We work in line with GDPR regulations, and we do not use photos for promotional or marketing reasons unless you give us consent.
