Epaderm Cream

Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient and cleanser clinically proven to effectively relieve the symptoms of dry skin, including hydration and smoothness, after just two weeks. It’s a 2-in-1 treatment for dry skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis, meaning Epaderm Cream can be used directly on the skin or as a skin cleanser. Epaderm Cream’s light, non-greasy formulation is suitable for less severely affected areas and daytime use. It is free from fragrance, colouring and SLS and is easy to use with a 'twist and lock' pump dispenser.

Epaderm Ointment is a 3-in-1 emollient for the management of moderately dry to very dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. Epaderm Ointment offers three aspects of complete emollient therapy in one - it can be used on the skin, as a bath additive or as a skin cleanser. It is suitable for dry skin, applicable for all ages and free from fragrance, colouring and SLS. 

Should I pick a Cream or an Ointment?

We would recommend choosing the ointment version if your skin is very dry or prone to stinging when applying products- it is commonly used for night-time application. We would recommend the cream version if you do not like the greasiness of an ointment or your skin is less-dry- creams tend to be easier to apply during the day as they are less messy and more quickly absorbed. A good idea is to use a cream in the day and an ointment at night.

• Apply Epaderm Cream and Ointment as often as required to hydrate skin throughout the day and/or night, ensuring the area is well covered.
• Apply gently in the direction of hair growth.
• Avoid vigorously rubbing the products in as this could make your skin hotter and aggravate the condition.
• Apply your moisturiser before and after you bathe or shower to protect against dry skin.
• To use a skin cleanser- apply a small amount onto your hand, lather under warm water and then use as a normal soap.

•        If this product comes into contact with dressings, clothing and bedding the fabric can be easily ignited with a naked flame. You should keep away from fire when using this product.

•        For external use only- do not swallow and keep away from eyes.

•        Do not use the product if you are allergic (hypersensitive) or suspect allergy to any of the ingredients contained within it.

•        Epaderm contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin irritation.

Epaderm Cream- Purified Water EP., Liquid Paraffin Ph. Eur., Yellow Soft Paraffin BP, Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax BP (contains Cetostearyl Alcohol and Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether 22), Chlorocresol and Glycerine BP.

Epaderm Ointment- Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax BP. (contains Cetostearyl Alcohol and Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether 22), Yellow Soft Paraffin BP and Liquid Paraffin Ph. Eur.
