Eucerin Sun Allergy Protection Cream-Gel SPF50 is a high factor sunscreen that protects against UVA/UVB radiation and reduces the risk of sun-induced skin allergies. It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The cream-gel should be applied generously to the skin before sun exposure and re-applied every two hours, or after swimming or sweating. The recommended amount to use per application is around 1-2 finger lengths of product.

Eucerin Sun Allergy Protection Cream-Gel SPF50 contains a unique combination of UVA/UVB filters and alpha-glucosylrutin. UVA radiation penetrates deeply into the skin and is known to cause skin aging, while UVB radiation is responsible for sunburn. Alpha-glucosylrutin is an active ingredient that helps to protect against sun-induced skin allergies, such as polymorphic light eruption (PLE) and solar urticaria. It does this by strengthening the skin's own protection system and reducing the release of histamine in the skin. This reduces the risk of sun-induced skin allergies.
