Rozex 0.75% Gel (For Perioral Dermatitis)

• Gently cleanse your skin with a rosacea-friendly cleanser or lukewarm water and pat dry
• Apply a thin layer of the gel Twice a day to the affected area and rub in well
• About a fingertip’s worth of gel will cover the area of the face
• Use for a minimum of 4 weeks for maximum results
• If the condition goes away after finishing the course, but comes back now and again, the course can usually be repeated. If the condition keeps coming back frequently when the medication has been stopped, then consider only using the medication 2-3 days per week to keep it at bay.

• We would advise avoiding alcohol whilst using this medication as although unlikely, there is a theoretical risk that can react with alcohol and cause adverse effects such as nausea and flushing. 

• Avoid strong sunlight and exposure to UV light whilst you are using this medication. 

• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you suffer with any blood disorders or take any medications that thin the blood e.g., warfarin 

• This medication contains Propylene Glycol and Parahydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions and skin irritation 

• Do not use this medication if you are allergic or suspect allergy to any of the ingredients. 

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children. 

• For external use only- do not swallow and keep away from eyes.

Active Ingredients: Metronidazole 0.75%Other Ingredients:  Carbomer 940 (Carbopol 980), Disodium Edetate, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Propylene Glycol (E1520), Sodium Hydroxide (for pH adjustment) and Purified Water.

Shelf Life: 3 years

Common Side effects (affecting 1%- 10% of people): Dry skin, erythema (redness), pruritus (itch), skin discomfort (burning, pain of skin/stinging), skin irritation, worsening of rosacea.
