Summary
Daktarin Aktiv Spray Powder is used for the treatment of fungal skin infections in adults and children over 2 years old. The spray should be applied to the affected area twice daily and should be continued for 10-14 days. The recommended maximum daily dose is 4 sprays per application site. How it Works (The Science)
Daktarin Aktiv Spray Powder contains Miconazole nitrate, which is an antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, which is an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This results in the fungal cell membrane becoming weaker and more permeable, causing the fungus to die.
How to Use
Shake the can well before use.
Hold the can 3-6 inches away from the affected area and spray evenly.
Apply twice daily to the affected area and surrounding skin.
Wash hands after use.
Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
Do not use near naked flames or lit objects.
Do not inhale the spray.
Do not puncture or incinerate the can.
Do not apply to broken or inflamed skin.

For external use only.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
If symptoms persist after 2 weeks of treatment, consult your healthcare professional.
Do not use on children under 2 years of age without consulting a healthcare professional.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and nose.
If the spray accidentally gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the can to the healthcare professional.

There is insufficient data on the safety of Daktarin Aktiv Spray Powder in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, it should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks.
